Chapter 5- Confess   
It was my second time being lashed. It had been nearly three months since I first arrived. I was given a complimentary lashing session the day after John and I had first talked and those scars had only just healed. We were great friends since that day. We eagerly discussed different books of the Bible and stories we remembered. Sometimes we would even get into the hymns and old Christian pop songs we used to hear on the radio. It was refreshing to have such a friend in the first three months of my captivity. The Resented Ch 5

     I suppose I dosed off because, when I woke up, it was 7 a.m. I stumbled out of my empty bed and downstairs and found my mom arranging and cleaning furniture. "Morning Ally," she said cheerfully. Ally is sort of my alias, along with 'Alley Cat' , which Rebecca calls me. "Morning." I said sleepily. "We're going to be pretty busy today, so hurry up and eat so we can get going." Welcome to The Novelist Club!

As a long time novel writer, this organization on DeviantArt is a project that is very near to my heart, something that I hope that everyone can find joy in - while sharing their writings, critiques, and ideas with other members.

Our goals here are simple: share, critique, grow.


Annoucements

:new: Be sure to give a warm thank you to `GaioumonBatou for his lovely work on our new journal CSS. It was time for something different, and I quite like this unique look.

There will be more news and other new things to come soon, so be on the look out! My apologizes for lack of updates, my lit hat keeps me away, but you folks have been great about sending in your submissions and we have plenty of wonderful new ones to browse through, so be sure to take a look.

Hi there, just became a deviant yesterday and am still wallowing around finding my way. This place looks interesting but I'm unsure still of the process of submitting work. (I'm working on my 7th Novel, 1st published next week) I'm worried about getting too involved here when I should be word-milling on the book. I shall observe and learn for bit before I submit. Regards to you all. I think I got my fist sign up catogory wrong oops!
